Featured Cases

Icy Apartment Slip and Fall

County,
Our client slipped and fell on ice outside his apartment during a winter storm, suffering a serious left ankle fracture that required surgery and months of rehabilitation. The insurance company initially tried to minimize his claim, offering just $20,000 for his injuries and recovery. We pushed back, building the case around the extent of his medical treatment and the long road of rehab he had to endure. By presenting the full impact of the accident, we showed why the initial offer wasn’t enough. Our advocacy led to a settlement of $175,000, giving our client fair compensation and peace of mind after a difficult ordeal.

Elevator Failure

County,
Our client was riding in an elevator when it suddenly malfunctioned, dropping three floors from the 13th to the 10th. The building’s insurance company tried to avoid responsibility, pointing to a security camera angle that seemed to show little movement inside the elevator. Our team stepped in and explained why that footage was misleading—the camera was facing the same direction as the fall, so it could not capture the violent drop. By focusing on the real impact to our client and challenging the insurance company’s excuse, we kept the pressure on during mediation. The result was a $270,000 settlement that gave our client meaningful compensation for what they endured.

Dog Bite

County,
Our client, a twelve-year-old girl, was bitten in the face by a neighbor’s dog while she was playing outside. The dog was unleashed and unrestrained, leaving her with painful injuries and lasting trauma. The homeowner’s insurance company tried to deny responsibility, arguing that the dog had never shown aggression before. We pushed back. Through our advocacy, we secured more than $600,000 for our client, providing the resources she needed for treatment and recovery.

High Speed Automobile Crash

County,
Our client, a law enforcement officer, was assisting with a broken-down vehicle when he was rear-ended at high speed while sitting in his patrol car. The crash left him with serious injuries that required both a neck procedure and shoulder surgery. The insurance company initially tried to settle for just $15,000, an amount that didn’t come close to addressing the impact on his health and career. We stepped in, built a strong case around his medical treatment and long-term recovery needs, and pushed back against the low offer. In the end, we recovered more than $200,000 for our client, ensuring he received fair compensation for the harm he suffered while serving the community.

Sexual Assault of a Minor

County,
Our client, a young girl, experienced sexual assault by members of her church. Out of respect for her privacy, we do not share the details of these cases publicly. What we can share is that we stood firmly by her side, protecting her voice and pursuing accountability. Through our advocacy, she recovered more than one million dollars. This result provided our client and her family with crucial resources to begin the process of healing and moving forward.

Divorce Dispute

County,
Our client was facing a divorce where his parenting rights were under attack. He was accused of mental health issues and drug abuse, and his soon-to-be ex-wife was attempting to cut off his time with their children entirely. We fought back against those accusations and showed the truth about his ability to be a safe, loving parent. Not only were we able to preserve his parenting time, but we also protected his financial interests. In the end, our advocacy secured more than ten million dollars in assets for our client while ensuring he remained a constant presence in his children’s lives.
